[Page 1] Griffo Amusing Kids And Our Readers Too To the Editor of The Star: I wish to commend The Indianapolis Star and Mr. Griffo, for the stories of the bus trip with his children, now appearing daily in The Star. They are so human and thoroughly American, that they may be compared to little, refreshing, oasis in a bleak desert of news of labor union scandals, cutthroat politics, high budgets, increasing tax rates, Indiana highway scandals, Middle Eastern crises, and the testing of new and terrible implements of war. I am quite sure that Mr. Griffo, with his sense of humor, is not only providing a wonderful vacation trip for his children, but is also acting in the role of good will ambassador for the State of Indiana.
